Tarnavusios tiesai: Ona Šimaitė ir Nijolė Sadūnaitė

Abstract

Ona Šimaitė (1894–1970) ir Nijolė Sadūnaitė (g. 1938) – vienos ryškiausių XX a. Lietuvos neginkluoto pasipriešinimo nacių ir sovietų okupantų diegtoms ideologijoms asmenybių. O. Šimaitė buvo Lietuvos žydų gelbėtoja holokausto metu, taip pat veiklus kultūros žmogus. Vienuolė N. Sadūnaitė – pogrindinių leidinių rengėja ir platintoja, aktyvi kovotoja už Lietuvos nepriklausomybės atkūrimą sovietinės okupacijos laikotarpiu. Straipsnyje atskleidžiamos bendrõs O. Šimaitės ir N. Sadūnaitės veiklos ištakos žvelgiant iš humanistinės teorijos pozicijų ir išryškinant sąžinės, mylėjimo, mąstymo ir veikimo aspektus. Tyrimu nustatyta, kad O. Šimaitė ir N. Sadūnaitė yra produktyviosios orientacijos asmenybės, net ir sudėtingiausiomis sąlygomis puoselėjusios humanizmo vertybes.

Ona Šimaitė (1894–1970) and Nijolė Sadūnaitė (b. 1938) were conspicuous figures of unarmed resistance to inculcated ideologies of the Nazi and Soviet invaders in Lithuania in the 20th century. O. Šimaitė was the rescuer of Lithuanian Jews in the time of Holocaust and also an active person of culture. The nun N. Sadūnaitė was an organizer and spreader of underground publications, and an active fighter for recreation of the independence of Lithuania in the period of the Soviet occupation. This article looks at the concurrent beginnings of the movements of O. Šimaitė and N. Sadūnaitė from the perspective of humanistic theory. Conscience, love, thinking, and action are the four contact points of the world views of these persons that came out after analysing the material. The motif of fight for people was emphasized by O. Šimaitė and N. Sadūnaitė. The fight endowed love with particular intensity. O. Šimaitė and N. Sadūnaitė fulfilled the mission of life that is typical of persons of productive orientation through these four twists. In their case, it was the creation of a fair, free and harmonious country.
