Researching the most effective means for disinfection is an important effort. Opinions of Lithuanian and foreign scientists who wrote about their experiences in this field are included in this review. Today we can choose among great variety of materials used for disinfection of documents in libraries and archives. Every institution can choose the most suitable way of disinfection. The chosen material should not damage paper of documents, environment, people and at the same time it should be maximally effective in fighting microbes.CC BY-NC-NDStraipsnis
