| dc.description.abstract | A bibliometric study using the dissertations of the technical sciences maintained in Lithuania in 1940-1990 was conducted. Quantitative parameters, location of dissertations, social groups and scientific schools of Lithuanian scientists were analysed. There were used three bibliometric methods in this study: • the analysis of the flow of dissertations; • analysis of co-authorship; • analysis of citation. Scientific schools in the field of technical sciences of Lithuania were identified using the social-communicative model. | |
